Ichiban Sushi

The night before Kirk’s wedding, myself, b. and Kirk went to Ichiban Sushi on King St. in Toronto. No, yours truly does not eat uncooked fish, but Kirk and B. do and there is more than sushi on the menu, so I gave it a shot. For the most part I really enjoyed it. I started with tempura (you must try this!) vegetables which were amazing, then I had noodles with Chicken and Egg. I forget the proper name, Don something. Which was decent. I didn’t care for the kelp and funky mushrooms but overall was enjoyable. The service was excellent. The chef even threw in a few freebie dishes. I don’t think I’ll be eating raw fish anytime soon, but there was still enough on the menu for this white boy to return. Yum.
