Yes, I got a DS for Christmas! Iโm very happy with the DS Lite (Zelda Edition)โฆ The game colour is crisp and bright and the device is a distinctive coppery colour. I also received a generous gift card for MEC from my sister. It will likely go towards some new hiking shoes. A pair of nice sweaters and a few games.
We had a busy few daysโฆ First we had my family Christmas down in Niagara. (Fonthill for those familiar with the area) It was fun. The night had the debate over how to pronounce our last name. My uncle who had a few too many popsโฆ fortunately he was loud and funnyโฆ not loud and annoying. I got to meet some of my cousinโs significant others and spend some time with family that I rarely see.
The next night we had my parents and B.โs brother over (for what seems to be) an annual Christmas dinner. Once again B. brined the turkey to perfection and everyone enjoyed a great feast!
Boxing day we ventured over to B.โs sisterโs place for lunch. Lunch was yummy, as are all the meals prepared by her sister or brother in law. The afternoon passed by with Wii Tennis, Bubble hockey and playing with an RC hovercraftโฆ The basement is a lot like a Toys R Usโฆ My nephew is a lucky little boy. It was much more relaxing to be entertained instead of having to do the entertaining. Phewโฆ
Today I drove up to Peterborough to pick up B.โs mom. Fortunately the trip was quick and uneventful. Now Iโm trying to get some chillax timeโฆAnd Iโve signed up to play ball hockey in the New Year, which is going to force me to โride the bikeโ a bit to get my non-existent cardio back to a reasonable level.
In serious news, the world says goodbye to a remarkable leader in Benazir Bhutto. I can only imagine what will happen in the East nowโฆ
