the main characters from Samurai Champloo

I finally finished watching the best anime series I have watched tonight. Samurai Champloo has been awesome and very entertaining. Each of the three main characters has a definite personality and wit about them. The animation was often stunning and majestic. The dialogue was sincere and simple with a generous dose of humour. Clearly director by Shinichiro Watanabe is one of the best (if not the best) directors in anime. He also directed Cowboy Bebop (which I’m also watching and enjoying). Champloo was a wonderful journey and I’m sad it has come to an end. I highly recommend the series (26 episodes) to anyone who enjoys animation/anime. The series is, however, not for kids.
