WOW! Canadian Juniors advance to the GOLD medal game against the Russians by defeating U! S! A! 3-2 in a close game in Halifax. And the Sabres manage to win as well! Rah! Looking forward to a great game Sunday as the Canadian try to win gold!
I didn’t know how expensive mattresses are! Phew! Went shopping for one this eve and many (lower end!) were in excess of $1000! Fortunately we shopped around a bit and found a reasonably priced mattress at Sleep Country Canada (why buy a mattress anywhere else indeed…)

No.

No. I have never found something that I would want permanently on my body.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Maybe some shopping… tobogganing perhaps. Maybe a little road trip if the snow stops.

Well you know there is a lot going on in my life when blog entries are about weather. Ho-hum, we did get a nice snowfall last night… Maybe some skiing soon? hmm.
Looks like the Canadian Juniors will be playing U! S! A! tonight (7 PM EST on TSN!)… GO CANADA! Mmmm lime Jell-o.
I have a print in my kitchen entitled Morning Glory by William Hannum that my mother has always enjoyed. She keeps joking that she is going to take it and hang it in her living room…it would match her colours very well. Anyways… for Christmas I decided to get her a similar print by the same artist. This one is entitled Valley. I looked in all the local print shops, no one had it in stock and only a few could get it for big bucks. So naturally I looked on-line and found it for a decent price at allposter.com. When I got it the website said it would arrive by December 24th – great! – it wouldn’t be dry mounted in time, by at least my Mom could see the print. Well, it didn’t arrive. In fact it didn’t arrive until yesterday. Now I know the shipping business is obviously busy during the festive season… but C’mon!
I was pretty disappointed, and what recourse do I have? Send the print back and wait another month to get another print? BAH. I hope it looks great on her wall when it is done.
