The sabres miraculous play lasted two games. Heh. ahh well..so onwards to turkey dinners #2 and #3. Let the games begin! I can’t wait until the fur flies. Fortunately I have a get-out-of-jail free card as my parents have generously invited to their place as well.

Well it is time for those seasonal dinners. Ho-Hum. I tightened up the height of the blog entries a bit. Sabres section is updated and keeping track of their progress! So far so good. Clearly I wonder how long will they over achieve? GO SABRES!

King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime

I’ve read many reviews about this album. I think many reviewers are too quick to dismiss this Faith No More album due to a few seconds of Patton being Patton. (I was listening to it last night in the car, so why this suddenly surfaced…) I think it is a great listen. Highs, lows, tons of melody, beat and bravado. From AMG – ‘King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime remains one of Faith No More’s underrated releases.’ You don’t have a pulse if ‘Just a Man’ doesn’t make you smile. Admittedly it took a few listens to penetrate, but now that I have… it is clearly one of the most reward FNM experiences available.

well it is that wonderful time of the year known as Thanksgiving. I’d like to be able to say I look forward to running around scarfing down turkey… but I don’t. Having never been well received by some members of my gf’s family it is often something I try to avoid. I don’t need to be put in situations where I might say the things I feel. Harsh nasty stuff. But I digress. Can’t we all just get along?? It seems like wishful thinking. More on this later ‘fer sure.
