Nothing I recall… But some athletes have from strange ones.

Don’t really have any.

No, mainly because I have so little.

No. Why would when you are born make any difference whatsoever. For entertainment purpose only…. 😛

the end is near…

Well… my contract with Brock ends tomorrow creating a lot of mixed feelings for myself. In spite of looking for another job, basically since I was hired, I still haven’t found anything yet. I’ve had a few interviews, sent out tons of resumes and still, zippo, nil, none. I try not to dwell on that because if I do I find it deeply troubling…because I have no idea when the next contact or position could begin. Two weeks, two months? Longer? EEEEEK! Short-term money won’t be an issue, I’ve saved a bit knowing this was likely to happen and I have very little debt now. (which will put me in a great position once I *do* find something – must think positively… must focus power!)

I won’t really miss the work at Brock that much. Yes, it was an interesting study and the good Dr. tried hard to utilize my technical abilities but the poor pay and strange obligations I found really discouraging. Sorry I don’t do professional web development for a few dollars over minimum wage. (it pissed me off more when I found Research Assistant’s at other Canadian Universities were actually making a decent living likely doing the exact stuff I was….but I digress) As with most work situations (if you are lucky) it is the people you will miss the most when you leave… and that is certainly going to be the case here. A great, warm bunch of people that made a year of new and different experiences both memorable and enjoyable. I will miss them. Anyways, time to ‘surgite’ once again.

Might be going away this week to Ottawa with B.. Which will be great. I need a distraction.
