It was another fun night of ball hockey last night. It was the semi-final games. Unfortunately, the opposition had a poor turn out so they forfeited the game. We played it anyway, technically, just for fun. We were missing our starting goalie and a few good players so I wasn't certain how it would go. The game went in a typical manner for our recent games. It is a close game for the first two periods then by the third and fourth we start pulling away. I don't know what the final score was but we won by quite a few. I must have had from 4-6 assists and a few goals. It was a good night production wise. My defense partner took two shots to the upper thigh in the same spot. Wow...I've been hit by a lot of shots that have left a mark, but I've never seen a bruise like that before. It was raised like a volcano and all sorts of nasty black and blue. Ugh. We convened afterwards at St.Louis for some talk, laughs and food. Sadly Bows is pondering leaving the team to distribute the talent and make more competitive teams...While I get that, we've played together for years and it would be a bit disappointing to break up the chemistry.
Whoa. Sabres with an impressive home win vs. the Oilers today. Power with the OT goal...!
update!
Wow, I thought the game was over. They reviewed Power's OT goal and ruled it was offside! HA! So the game actually went to a shootout... which we also won!
In more good sports news...T! F! C! Incredible! Another clean sheet! Another win! What a shot by Ensigne! I couldn't decide between these two photos, so I just posted both. ๐
Hmm. After the last Pop! OS update on my UX333 laptop it was locking up frozen. Rebooted and it did it again. So... that is disappointing. Wiped it and it is back to Mint. *shrug*

Bdot picked up these crazy OERO cookies for me. They are called OREO Space Dunk flavour. They are noticeably different from a typical OREO cookie. The wafer is sweeter and has a more intense chocolate flavour. The creme is generous and has pop-rocks (yes that exploding candy) blended in. The pop rocks are really mixed in within the creme so they are significantly nerfed. The wafer has some unique space patterning on it. Two or three of these bad boys and you are done. They are very sweet. I'd probably get them again.
Watching Shลgun. A subtitled, historical, drama and it is incredibly well done. Some beautiful cinematography and
Came across this epic history of RPG games video. It pointed out a site that hosts some of the earliest ever RPGs. It appears that you need to make an account however...*shrug* It is a interesting retrospective look on my favourite gaming genre. I've played the majority of the games mentioned. *snort* Ultima, Wizardry, Bard's Tale, Many SSI Gold box Games, Might & Magic, (ok, not so many JRPGs however)
We blew through the rest of The Gentlemen. What a trip. Our enthusiasm for it slowed a bit as did become a bit sameish after a while. Still, it was witty and fun with some memorable characters. It should end there without a second season. โญโญโญยฝ
