I awoke Sunday morning to a wonderful breakfast that B. had prepared. Waffles! Mmmm! We are really enjoying the yard at the โnewโ house. It has an accommodating selection of both sun and shade throughout most of the day. The garden renovations are also moving forward. The front garden should be nearly complete today as we will be planting the Summer Wine Ninebark, Limelight Hydrangea and a Sutherland Gold Elderberry. In the backyard we are planting some showy Cityline Venice Hydrangeas to replace some low lying Junipers. Bleck. I think they were Junipersโฆ whatever they were they have been cut up and dug out.
Yesterday we made a trip to our, now favourite, Nursery and picked up more plants for the yard. B. got a bunch of herbs โ so Iโm looking forward to cooking with them. Anyway, I need to get outside and continue gardeningโฆ the shrubs unfortunately wonโt plant themselves.
My sister said they have begun looking for a house. While this is very exciting news โ I hope it isnโt a premature decision.
UPDATE!:
After a loooooooooooong day of gardeningโฆ the Ninebark, Hydrangeas and Elderberry are in the ground. My back is killing me. Iโm going to chill out now. The gardens look much improved!
