The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup was this afternoon. What a shitshow! It dragged on and on and on before picking... The FIFA President made up some ridiculous Peace award and (LOL!) gave it to Mango Mussolini! For real! FIFA awarding a convicted rapist! I hear Putin in high in the running for the next Peace award. What a joke! Then Wayne stumbling over nations... SMH.
Anyway, the draw. Canada did so-so. Could have been better or worse. The Swiss will be tough. A draw would be a result. Qatar should be a win. And the final team is TBD, but there is speculation it could be Italy. Italy isn't the Italy of the past... it would be bonkers if it was in Toronto. I'd imagine the "Italian-Canadians" would cheer for Italy so... I just assume not have to see that...My guess Canada could end up with anywhere from 2 to 7 points. Not much of a guess...haha.
Hockey Semi final tonight. As usual, whichever team gets a better turn out could decide things. I know we are missing at least three tonight...so... could go either way I guess.
