3:10 to Yuma

Started my day off watching the Protector with Tony Jaa. While the movie overall was a bit of a dud, the martial arts fight sequences were incredible! You can see part of one the fight sequences on youtube. ⭐⭐⭐½ Afterwards I took puppy to the Fairgrounds for a run. She enjoyed the romp. I did some housecleaning after I got home with the dog. (Can’t have the house looking too bad when the Boss returns. *smirk*)

As has become the norm on Sundays I had ball hockey. I had a lot of shots, one crossbar, but no points. It was a tight game from start to finish. I think both team deserved the tie. The team played fairly well today. I do find it odd the turn outs we get for the games… sometimes we have enough subs for 2-3 lines. Today we had one. *shrug* I know I can’t make every game, but some guys have missed several… Bah!

I finally got to watch a whole Sabres game tonight. Too bad it was a stinker. Another home loss. Granted the Sabres lost to Montreal and Detroit, the tops of their conferences, but a better showing would have been nice.

For my evening entertainment I watched 3:10 to Yuma. It was very good. Crowe’s character was intriguing. An evil murderous outlaw with a strange moral compass. For a ‘Western’ it was very well done. It had a great story and was paced similar to Unforgiven. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now I have to feed these cats. They won’t stop meowing…
