OMG SNOW! Everyone panic!

Every year the first snowfall always creates a massive melodramatic overembellishment of the actual driving conditions. It’s like people as screaming ‘Oh shit! Snow! Oh my gawd! Oh my gawd! What do I do!??!’ in their minds. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t drive like the dumbasses in their Hummers would in a blizzard, but during a light snowfall there is no reason I should be driving less the 80km/h… Drive according to the conditions. If the conditions aren’t bad, don’t drive like they are! Yes, I was very late this morning for work. Apparently all my co-workers were as well. All of which echoed the same sentiment. You would think us ‘hardy weathered Canadians’ could handle 5cm of snow in stride. I guess not. *eyeroll*

It sure has felt like a long week. I’m hoping to do very little this weekend…

Big game tonight for the Sabres. The rematch against the Leafs. They were shutout last game… maybe trying improving on that. Sigh……..
