You never know what to expect driving into Toronto every morning. Most days my drive is uneventful, it takes the typical 1hr to get in. Well… today took 2.5 hrs. Apparently there was an accident this morning that backed up traffic several kilometres up the 400. Sigh. It was brutal. The worst is not seeing the end of the congestion so you creep along for what seems like forever not knowing when it will end. Bah. Coming home could have been the same… There were 4 lanes jammed on the 400 North… Fortunately the MTO installed those information signs so I avoided the 400N and took the 409 to 427N which ended up being a pretty fast route. I hate driving. If the Studio stays open and we relocate downtown I think I’ll take the GO Train in from the Major Mac/400 station. We’ll see. Half a crappy drive is better than a full crappy drive IMHO…
