Well… I finally got out to see Shrek 2. It was a CGI digital delight…. Lots of laughs (and many adult laughs at that). Like many Simpsons episodes, there were many cultural and movie references throughout the film… I’d like to see it again just to watch for them. The characters all returned (including my favourite Gingerbread man) and a few new additions. Most notably Puss in Boots. What a great character. As a cat owner I found the character to be very well done. Cats can be pretty silly. Overall it was an impressive film… I was surprised that close to two hours had passed when it was over. I’m sure the green ogre will rake in a monster portion of another sort of green. I thought it was every bit as good as the original film. I give it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐½.
