Sometime ago I came across radioparadise which described itself as “eclectic intelligent rock”… yummy I thought. So I tuned in and naturally wanted to contribute to their collection (you can upload tracks…) First on my list of course! would be to improve their pixies collection. So… upload away. I tossed the voivod in for shits and giggles… I found it odd that a station claiming to be eclectic would “probably not” play some of the best and most eclectic modern rock every written. How disappointing. I may submit a few more tracks but… if “Here Comes Your Man” and “La La Love You” are considered to be the best pixies songs radioparadise will play then they need to rename themselves to “poppy intelligent rock.” BAH! ACK! I can’t wait to see if they will play the Carpets…Why bother running a web radio station if you are going to play the same tracks as commercial radio???!

I won’t even begin to mention the importance and influence the pixies had on MANY bands they are playing…

It seems to be a bit of a tradition now… I go to my parents and watch the BIG SUPER HYPE…err… SUPER BOWL game. I enjoy football… but I’m not a fan of any particular team in the NFL. I usually just go for the underdog in the Super Bowl. So. Go Bucs.

Wonderful snow storm outside… will make for many drunken accidents after the game. Beware on the roads today!
