Neal Stephenson

A great geeky article by Neal Stephenson entitled : ‘In the Beginning was the Command Line’ is a must read for the OS-opinionated among us. (And really, for anyone out there… it has a lot of really great ideas IMHO…A long read, but well worth it!) I’ll post some of my favourite quotes from it shortly. 🙂

In other news… after being told writing for the weblogreview would be on a ‘submit or get a strike system’ I decided to opt out… Where is the fun in writing for free when it is forced. Gah… 😛 Would it not be better to have a hundred happy writers contributing when they wanted to rather than having 10 writers pumping out stuff weekly? It is a voluntary choice to write. Oh well. It was fun until bureaucracy took the fun out of it. Hardly motivational. Regardless… it is a good idea and I hope the guy running the site accomplishes what he wants out of it.

Oranges?

Started some cosmetic changes to unsung today (which will allow easier site wide changes in the future….). The orange is for Halloween. WTF is with my MSN today?? On, off, on, off, on, off… GAHH!!
