So famous right wing spokesman Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah yesterday. The hot takes on this are pretty incredible. Not surprisingly, Mango Mussolini is acting like some hero died and asking flags be at half mast. What a great leader, advocating for calm and bringing everyone together in a crisis. Ha! Or use it to further your agenda of division? Sigh
First off, it is murder. (For now I will assume his believes were why he was targeted) And killing someone you disagree with will only make people who disagree with your believe think they to can be justified to use violence. I think Charlie was a pretty vile person and said some horrific things...but freedom means freedom FOR ALL. NOT just the people you agree with. Sure, it's hard, but you don't really have freedom unless everyone, especially those you disagree with have a voice. I would hope someone with such repugnant opinions wouldn't have such a loud voice but... that should say something that he does.
