Glorious Tee

Our league finals games continue to be cursed. Our goalie was sick and one of our forwards had sudden stomach pain and *gasp* had to have his appendix out! So we were tight on numbers again. We did play the game 3 on 3. Oh what a game! We had a goalie who already played a full game so, he was likely already tired... So he did let in a few long shots and the other goalie saved some 'should-have-been' goals... So the game was really tight down the the final, exhausting minute. But we persevered and got the win for back to back championships! We also found out our team may not be dissected. Which is great news. I played okay. I got a few goals but my knees felt off and running wasn't as fluid as it typically is... Hmm.

PROMOTION!

WREXHAM! WREXHAM! WREXHAM! WREXHAM! At least there was some good soccer news today after Tottenham got destroyed 4-0... Wrexham are getting promoted to League One! The incredible story of Wrexham continues... I tried for 30m to find a stream and they were all strangely not working. I don't think that has ever happened before. Hmpt!

HAHA!

Pretty much how I feel about Canadian politics right now. This dude is a great follow for Canadian politics. Canadians always vote out of spite. They would cut off a arm to spite a finger.

We were going to visit my Mother today but alas, bdot awoke with a terrible headache so... we've had to postpone things for a few weeks. I was pretty tired from last night's game anyway... We watched The Holdovers. I enjoyed it far more than I expected based on the film's description. The writing and characters were excellent as were the lead actors. There were also enough little twists in the plot to keep it interesting for its full run time. A really nice film about potentials and possibilities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐¼

My sister is running in the Boston Marathon tomorrow. I hope she gets the time she wants.

GOLD FOR CANADA!!

As expected, its U.S. v. Canada for Gold again at the IIHF Worlds. It is back and forth so far, tied going into the 3rd...C'mon 🇨🇦! Actually was a decently reffed game... Wow...crazy. 5-5 going to OT! The U.S. took a brutal too many men penalty and at the end of it SCOOOOOORESSSSSS! CANADA WINS GOLD!
