A better bush

I came across this while surfing… I think in light of the gross censorship and obfuscation of the truth and reality of the war by the Bush gov’t it is very appropriate. It was originally found here. There are many versions available. In case you can’t tell in this version… It is a mosaic containing photos of some of the dead servicemen from Bush’s conflicts.

Yaking up an old school FIVE!

no new FIVE this week. So, again! to the archives!… This five is from September 28, 2001

1. Laying on your back and facing the ceiling, which side of the bed do you sleep on?
Left (?)

2. Do you have to have covers (blankets and/or sheets) at all costs, no matter the weather?
At least a bedsheet.

3. Sleep nekkid or no? Why?
Just boxers baby.

4. What’s under your bed?
Monsters, cat hair, a box of junk.

5. If you have pets, do you let them sleep with you? Why or why not?
Yes, Remi sometimes sleeps under the cover and “spoons” into me. Funny cat.

Phew… B. and I ventured off to Guelph Conversation today for Swift kayak’s demo sale… It is an opportunity to test paddle a bunch of kayaks and take advantage of some last season deals. And B. sure did! She scored a Kevlar! Bering Sea… and it’s yellow! I test paddled a bunch myself… It is certainly worthwhile to test paddle as many kayaks as you can before you buy. I found each one I tested handled quite differently and each had a ‘personality’ of its own… Certainly a start to having an adventuresome summer!
