Such a lonely word

Joy… I thought I had found a job and was in the final stages of negotiating the details when the employer decided to pull the plug… They offered me one salary and I accepted with the option to work at home once a week. Well they said today they ‘reviewed our budgets and are unable’ to pay me what they originally offered me. Right. Does that sound like BS to you too? We are talking about a few hundred dollars here as well. The difference between one more dollar an hour. So… clearly there were other factors in this decision. In spite of it being a entry job, I’m still disappointed it fell apart.

I can only hope that there are better things in store for me and this wasn’t meant to be.
