Proud to be a Canadian

Nearly everyday I hear something about the U.S. that makes me happy I’m a Canadian. No, I’m not just talking about everytime Bush opens his mouth or sets foreign policy… This ⚠️ (link now 404 😕 - Jan/24) was interesting. It is very creepy to think (and I’m sure it is happening) that there are datafiles on all of us in some government database somewhere. With a few keystrokes someone can totally fubar your life. I’m hoping any type of project even resembling the Matrix is shot down. Since when did democratic governments feel they have the right to peer that deeply into private citizen’s lives? I’m surprised more Americans are outraged. Do you really think a system like this would be beneficial?
