Creepy mail

First off I wanted to say a belated Happy Birthday to my sister. It is odd being so far apart. This is the first birthday where we didn’t cut a cake together. Feels strange. I’ll go get a cake and eat one for you. 🙂

Sabres start round three tonight against the arch enemy the Sens. I’m expecting a very entertaining series. Go Sabres!

It is good to see the weather changing. I’m looking forward to doing more outside. Especially after getting e-mail from Ontario Parks. Hmm. I’ve been taking a B100 complex vitamin for about two months. It was suppose to boost my energy.. and I have to say I have noticed some improvement. Do I keep taking them once the bottle is done? Gah. I’d hate to have to make a doctor’s appointment just to ask if I should keep taking vitamins…

Well! FINALLY… after two years at my current employer I got a raise today. What is standard? I asked for a lot more. I ended up getting 6% for two years. Apparently some sort of defacto standard. Everyone was reviewed and we all seemed to get the same increase. Some of the guys were VERY disappointed. The company I work for is still not profitable and my manager expressed his disappointment to be the messenger. He acknowledged that he knows how much we have worked (Overtime) on projects so he is doing all he can. I believe him. I’m happy to have gotten the raise. After talking with a few people, while it may be less than desired, is actually fair and in line with reality. So. Yaaaaaaeeeah!
