bowling for data

Started to get an impression about how redundant the data entry is going to be for work. Fortunately it is interesting. Working from home today. ๐Ÿ˜€ Iโ€™m enjoying this. A lot. Although I donโ€™t think I would want to do it all the time. I would miss the human interaction. My cat isnโ€™t very good at solving computer problems. Silly cat.

The gf and I went bowling this eve with another couple. I started well (I think anything over 100 is decent for me) shooting 123 then forgot how to bowl in the second game shooting a 86. Oh well. Was fun. How can you not have fun wearing neon orange and pink shoes under black lights?

@Brock

Well, after three days at Brock Iโ€™m certainly glad I accepted the position. It was an interesting choice. I applied for two positions at Brock. One was a Research Assistant and the other a Web Developer. Clearly i had waaaaaaaaay more experience in webโ€ฆ but I got an interview for the RA. So, it went well and they offered me the position! At the same time I was offered an interview for the web position. UGHโ€ฆ Nothing for weeks on end then two at once. Sigh.

So I talked to one of the people involved with the RA position and, while I didnโ€™t know that much about the research processโ€ฆ it presented a great opportunity to learn, and it was a sure thing. I had not interviewed for the Web position yetโ€ฆ So I accepted the RA job.

It has been very cool. The people Iโ€™ve met so far that are involved in this research project are amazing. Generous, thoughtful, outgoing peopleโ€ฆ which has made my first few days surprisingly easy. Yes there is a lot of work, but it is an interesting project. More on it later.

Sabres won in overtime! SATAN scores!
