Lovely day for a walk

Saturday we drove up to Bethany to visit B.’s long time friends Bonnie and Buck. The area around Bethany is quite lovely… Rolling hills, trees, farmland… very picturesque. It was a fun visit. Their house is full of life with three busy kids. There was always something going on somewhere. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner and relaxed afterwards watching some hockey. (Sabres tried but came up short… probably ending the faint of a miraculous playoff berth) The teams the Sabres need to lose are winning so… it is looking like another ‘also ran’ season. Sigh. After the kids went to bed, the ‘adults’ played Trivial Pursuit Warner Brother’s Edition. Talk about some obscure questions. We played for awhile, eventually however, everyone became tired and the interest in the game sputtered out. Zzz. Today we made a short visit to the Costco in Peterborough. I don’t think we ever leave a Costco without dropping at least a $100, regardless what our intention is going into the store. Commercial evil. EVIL!

We bought of Death Valley Chipotle Kettle Brand Chips to try them out. My gawd they are hot. I should have known when the ingredients list : chili pepper, chipotle pepper, habanero pepper and jalapeno pepper! Get me some water!
