Happy Birthday Bdot

The weekend got started quickly as we* left for Niagara shortly after work Friday. It was B.’s birthday weekend and we had plans for dinner at my parents Saturday. We left early so we could do some shopping etc. Saturday morning. And did we. B. got a bunch of clothes, I got two pairs of pants (I must have tried on about twenty pairs… funny how inaccurate the sizes are at Old Navy so I ended up getting pants for American Eagle 😛 ) and of course some popcorn form Kernals. I was pretty zonked by the end of shopping.

I got B. some jewelry (it is my experience that in spite of the thought sometimes this backfires and I had though it did) but B. did like the jewelry it just needed some re-sizing. So… we called the jeweler up (who lives in St.Catharines, near Brock) and were going to make a quick stop in to make some changes to her necklace. Phew, as if. We left three hours later… funny how time flies when you start chatting with interesting people. I was even able to have a nerdgasm while there as the Jeweler’s son is a bit of a geek and built his first computer. Sniff! Sunday B. did some field work with the dog and I did some coding work and took some badly needed downtime. A good weekend.

* we, unless otherwise mentioned is me. B. and Tanga. The puppy goes pretty much everywhere with us now.
