For those using MySQL for your blogs. You might want to consider doing a “dump” (heh heh heh Beavis, he said dump) of you data to a text file. Better safe than WTF do you mean the server crashed and all my data is gone!

top 100 albums of the 1980s

check it out here. Well I recognized nearly every band in the countdown and have heard music off most of those albums. In case you missed it, my favourite band was

057: Pixies Come On Pilgrim [4AD; 1987]
007: Pixies Surfer Rosa [4AD; 1988],
004: Pixies Doolittle [4AD; 1989]…

but 001: Sonic Youth Daydream Nation [Blast First/Enigma; 1987] I don’t think so. Sure they are influential… but how many people can really ‘get into’ Sonic Youth?? i think i’ve got a broken face.

PRAGUE – Prime Minister Jean Chrétien has refused to accept the resignation of his communications director, who reportedly called U.S. President George W. Bush “a moron.”

I think what she said was “red-necked aggressive blood thirsty gun-loving self-righteous moron”… I don’t know why she was misquoted. Or perhaps it is just me.
