Our ball hockey semi game was Friday and everyday prior was more and more bad news. First the goalie couldn't make it, then one of our best forwards was away... I was still okay at this point bu then the day before the same another one of our top forwards injured himself at the gym and was out. We are a small league with small rosters. One or two players can always make or break a game. And they certainly did... It was a tough slog for us. We had only two subs but the guys were subbing for four and the ladies two...So the demand for the guys to get off was high all night long. I never got a full rest between shifts and that compounds heavily on this old man. We were down early and the score bounced around a bit... I think they were up as much as five at one point but it ended as a one goal loss. I have no doubt we would have won if either of the missing forwards was available. *shrug* I had a good night but I felt I was in a position where I had to do more... and that isn't sustainable for me anymore. Especially with only one sub... I can't go 100% sustained anymore for 5-10m. Bursts of awesome sure but then I need to recover. It was a tough loss. We battled back to get it within one the ran out of time... So the final night will be pretty meaningless.
eeeeee... I've been looking forward to the Whitecaps final in the CONCACAF Champion's Cup for weeks now... They were looking so good! So promising... But jez... they looked like trash tonight... What an embarrassing beatdown... SIGH.

We watched a curious and disturbing documentary about the Tylenol on Netflix... It was inconclusive to the perpetrator... But I never trust big pharma greed. They destroyed MILLIONS of pills (to hide?) to allegedly protect (their brand?) the community. The doc also focused on one creepy dude who surely was guilty of a lot of things but probably not the Tylenol murders. We may never know the actual cause of these crimes.... A really interesting case.
Bdot was out most of Sunday but did bring home some yummy, overpriced chocolate from I Love Chocolate.
Started playing the Wrath of the Lich King Alpha on Ascension. Not sure what I think of it yet...
Incredible plan by the Ukrainians to destroy all those bombers. Hopefully they keep finding ways to outwit the aggressor.
