The time when we finally went to bed. Gah…..

We always seem to make our New Year’s Eve plans at the last minute. This year was no exception. Ultimately we decided to join my sister and her husband for the evening at their place in Barrie. After we finally got the car pointed in the right direction we arrived in Barrie around 4. We decided to take the dogs for a short run in the near -20 cold. My Gawd it was cold. We order take out Chinese which was fairly average but somehow free! Score! Free average Chinese take out! We watched the amazing Canada/U.S Junior’s hockey game, it was back and forth, physical and very entertaining. A great win for team Canada. We spent the evening playing a variety of games : Cranium, Texas Hold’ Em and Euchre. My sister won Hold’em, the MEN won Euchre and B. and JP won Cranium. It was a good evening. We stayed the night and B. had a nasty reaction to the feather comforter we slept under. I had a few cups of coffee during the evening which gave me horrible gut rot which I’m only get over at 6PM today. Gah.

I also did some IT support fixing my sister’s computer from a nasty virus. This annoyance would replace your google search results with various spam sites so your results were anyways inaccurate. Apparently there was a file in the /System32 responsible. What a mess.

Today has been a right off, I’ve been taking it easy and intend on continuing that wonderful theme into the evening.
