WOW.. Last week Geddy and Alex (of the band Rush) - whom many assumed were done touring forever, suddenly announced they decided to play as Rush live again with a new drummer. The new drummer is Anika Nilles. I've seen a few videos of her prior to the announcement but didn't think much of it. She is supremely talented, I think a great fit, I hope she does well and the nerd gatekeepers can got fsck themselves. Naturally I'd like to see them and so did a few friends... No idea the cost, but we set a cap to the guy buying the tickets and it was over. He didn't bother to ask us if we'd meet the price... So.... No Rush for me... My BiL said floors were listing at 2600 dollars. If I haven't said it lately FUCK YOU TICKETMASTER YOU MONOPOLISTIC ASSHOLES!! They added more shows but sadly I have next to money for anything for myself so...*shrug*
Aww, the Sabres. Another season. Same old Sabres. The GM did nothing to resolve forward depth and goal scoring... Oh we'll be fine! In game one the highest paid centre on the team, who is clearly made of porcelain went down with the strangest non-contact injury I've ever seen. So without any lineup depth, the lines get juggled and everything looks like shit. Maybe the Sens knew Norris was a risk... Jesus... he is signed for a bunch of years to. I think he's played maybe 20% of his time here. So likely tack another on to the playoff drought. Thanks Terry!
Canada played Australia ๐ฆ๐บ in a "friendly" today...Canada had so many chances and could convert. The Roos took advantage of one dreadful defensive play and scored. It was a pretty chippy game. Some of those Roos look like roid ragers. *eyeroll* Pretty disappointing...
