We ventured up Killaloe Friday. The drive feels longer every year. It was colder in the north and they had snow. At home, rain has eating all the snow we had. Anyway... her Mom's house get pretty claustrophobic when full. There are no rooms that really, comfortably handle more than 5 or six people, which we were well over. But we managed. We had dinner in the living room, all together for the first time ever. Dinner was simple but delicious. I finally picked up my glorious tye-dye shirt. It is pretty epic and I love the colours. We had short visits with Trish and Dr.P.. We did get the above trail walk in with Dr.P.. We were just there two nights so we could only do so much. And sleeping on their plank of wood inspired mattress made for two awful nights of sleep.

Somewhere picked up a cold or whatever. Feeling like ass since I've been home. Sigh. I think it has been a long time since I've had flu-like symptoms.

I had to do a rush compilation of my AOTY list for Echoes. I thought I had another week to do it... so it was hurried and unsatisfying. I listened to album after album that I couldn't stand. No. Nope. Pass. Not my cup of tea... it was a slog for sure. I'm wondering if my tastes have changed? It's not my best list but I did manage a top 10... Eventually I just wanted it done and submitted.

UGH. Trudeau's government is in freefall... Top ministers are resigning and revealing the ugly core of his leadership. Freeland's resignation letter hints at a man who's lost support of his peers. He seems uncompromising and is making numerous poor policy decisions. Resign already! He is handing the Cons and Liars a freaking majority. Apparently the house is off until January... so JT has a few weeks before he has to make some big decisions...Hopefully he puts his ego aside and does what is best for Canada or PP will ruin everything with a majority...

This entry is probably full of mistakes etc. as I'm not focusing very well today. (It wasn't that bad)

Sabres go for an 11th loss in a row tonight. But, WOW! Terry gave them a freaking pep talk, so I'm sure they are good to go! FML.

It is now Wednesday... that crushing body fatigue has past but my sinuses are still on fire and still not 100%. But noticeably better.

Haha! Sabres lost to the last place team in the east 6-1. Now they are the last place team in the East. 11 game winless streak with no reason to think it will end anytime soon... Feel like I may need to check out. The team sure has.
