Happy Easter

Long Easter weekend. We had family over for dinner yesterday. B. made a veggie lasagna and I made stuffed peppers, my Mom brought cabbage rolls… so we ate very well. The women went to a pet show in the afternoon so I hung out my Dad for the afternoon. It was nice, I don’t get the opportunity to do so very often. It was a fun afternoon. We walked down to the ice cream parlor but it was full of people also taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather.

One of my oldest friends I grew up with in back in Canada (he lives in Australia) so I’m trying to arrange to see him sometime soon.

We found a leak in the great room ceiling and had roofers fixing it on Thursday. When moving the backyard furniture they broke our glass table. So there are shards of glass everywhere. Of course they didn’t say anything… I’m hoping this doesn’t turn into a mess and they admit the damage and pay for it. We’ll see. Sigh…

It has been an odd season for the Sabres. While they are first in their division they still seem to be lacking in a lot of areas. Not sure what the playoffs will bring.
