Wowโ€ฆ we have been eating well this week. B. made Mexican style stuffed peppers and they were divine! And yes, they contain tomato. Yes. I ate tomato. She also made a Peach crumble which was tasty in spite of the peaches being rather bitter.

Weโ€™ve decided to replace the very old and inefficient air conditioner and furnace. (They are both originals and the house is around 25 years old) The government incentives to replace them make it very appealing to do it now. We should get back close to 30-40% of the cost of investment, not to mention the operational savings. So, we are expecting to get this done before winter. We are getting a home energy audit this weekend. I expect there will tons of areas we can improve upon.

The commute to Burlington is pretty hit and miss. It is usually around an hour coming in and 1hr15m coming home. But as I expected, any given day it can be worse, and rarely better. Stillโ€ฆ it is better than going East IMHOโ€ฆ

Huh. I did a CPU upgrade on my gaming computer, breaking with years of geeky product loyality. Yes, I bought my first Intel chip after years and years of buying AMD exclusivity. I think my first was a K6. The numbers donโ€™t lie though. Intel is out performing AMDโ€™s low-end home computing chips. So, when Intel came out with the Quad-Core i5, their most reasonably priced chip ever, I couldnโ€™t resist.
