S139

Well. Most of my reality is now within the four walls at Sheridan College in S139. I have access to a computer lab (and *my* computer) 24/7 which is nice. The computers are setup on this little desks that have 3 students per desk. I share mine with two nice women, one is a designer, the other a coder. They pretty quiet. I arrived a little late my first day and got stuck with the last computer. Of course in keenerville right at the front. *sigh* Anyway. As you can see, there is no natural light, which sucks. (actually, not having fresh air sucks more…I don’t mind it a little dark but always dark hmm… I may turn completely into a mushroom by the end of the second term.) The courses are going well. There is a ton of work. As promised I will post something from my Disc Authoring course (Macromedia Director) once I spice it up a bit. (It is an uber cheesy game. It was really just a teaching tool.)

This weekend I’m back to Niagara for dinner with my parents. My sister and her husband (and the rest of their family unit of 4 cats) are moving to Collingwood. Egads! While I think it is a nice area, it puts her farther away. While I joke at this being wonderful it is sad that I will see her less. Since B. came into my life we seem to do things more often. Looks like there will be a lot of KM on the cars.
