Monahanโ€™s in Oakville

I took a few hours to join my classmates at Monahanโ€™s in Oakville (across the road from Sheridan). It was cool to get out. I recall the days when my friends and I would do this at the Hideaway in St.Catharines all the time. Fun. One of my classmates, letโ€™s call him Luigi, was really fun. Reminds me of Jim Carry without the faces. He was just a ball of energy. (After showing up late the next day in class and looking rather lethargic โ€“ it looks like Suicide wings and beer did a number on him) -smirk- There were also some former grads from the program. It was great to see they all had decent jobs. They warned us about the second term as well. Good grief โ€“ it gets harder?? I think I have direction in most of my projects. Just need to put the pedal down.

For the linux geeks out there Fedora Core 3 has been released! Iโ€™m going to try it out as soon as I get a power supply for my dead linux box.

Slow night last night. B. brought home some Chinese take-out. It wasnโ€™t bad. They donโ€™t do the Egg Fu Yung like Kingโ€™s in St.Catharines though. I guess every place seems to have certain dishes they do well.

It is my motherโ€™s birthday tomorrow. She is *gasp* 60. I wish her all the best. She has been wonderfully supportive and thoughtful and kind in so many ways. Thanks Mom. Gahโ€ฆgetting attacked by my cat.
