Vizslas everywhere!

FRACK! This is my second time typing this blog entry. I lost the first one accidentally going back in the browser. GAWD I HATE THAT! Anyway… It was a busy weekend. Saturday we had some of Barb’s longest friends Bonnie and Buck (and their kids) over for dinner. Buck was kind enough to take a look at numerous electrical issues we had around the house. The issues turned out to be minor, if you knew what you were looking for. Clearly the clown that did the electrical work before we bought the house did not. Thanks Buck, it is great to have functional lights and switches. The kids seemed to enjoy chasing the dogs around the house. I’m not sure the dogs enjoyed it as much. Buck and I also connected our natural gas BBQ up! So I’m eager to try that out.

This morning Suzanne and Kevin finally picked up their dog from ‘Hotel Barb’. They didn’t stay longer as they wanted to leave before the meeting started that we were hosting at the house today. We held the VSO Annual General Meeting at our house today. It is usually not well attended in spite of the clubs 170+ members only 8 turned out. -shrug- After the business was dealt with we took the army of dogs to Palgrave forest. Oh irony… One of the dog owners made a comment that his dogs only jump up on people wearing white. So, of course the only people we ran into during the walk had a woman wearing a white sweater… Heh, you can imagine what happened. -smirk-

The hockey playoffs have started which means so did the annual hockey pool! It is very early in the pool but I’m happy to say my Dad and I are tied for the led!
