wheeee! Wheeeeee!

Back in the day…there was a bar I went to in St.Catharines called Gord’s. Gord’s was largely responsible for my love of alternative music. One of the song they played at the time was Beers, Steers and Queers from Revolting Cocks. It started off with the sample, ‘now squeal like a pig! wheeee! Wheeeeee!‘ That sample is from the film Deliverance. I finally got a chance to watch it. I guess it is a piece of pop culture history people often make reference to it. I certainly didn’t see the direction it was headed, wheee! WHEEEE!!

B. and I are dogless for a week. We dropped off Tanga to our breeder in Guelph yesterday at a friends. Tanga is off to New York entered in some competitions. Hopefully she will get some ‘points’ otherwise I can’t see spending more money on dog handlers. We took the dogs for a run at Guelph prison. It was a little muddy – but a great area to let the dog rip around.

We got a few more quotes for doing the front walkway. Salesmen are funny. How many times can you say ‘once we get a signed quote’ in 15 minutes. Phew. I think we are happy with the second salesmen we met, hopefully he will get back to us soon with a reasonable quote.

I was feeling like crap when I got home yesterday after the walk. Achy and miserable, more so than usual. My thoughtful sweetie made a nice dinner and dessert for us. Thanks hon.
