Sports, Winter

I went up to Collingwood in the evening with some co-workers to go sking/boarding at Blue Mountain. This revealed both the positive and negative side of snow. Snow is great for outdoor activity such as skiing, snowboarding, hockey to some extent. Snow creates the perfect cold, crisp evening to enjoy winter with. I love snow but it also can be a destructive and dangerous element as well. On the way home from Collingwood there are several stretches of road with wild blowing snow across it. Last night we followed cars for many kilometres with four-way flashers on. Eventually we came across a nasty accident. A truck was upside down and *on top* of another car. It made my stomach turn. I will be surprised if there were no fatalities. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ *cringe*

The snow chaos aside โ€“ it was a fun night with my co-workers. I got in a bunch of runs. Iโ€™m solidly still a green circle โ€“ I canโ€™t forsee graduating to blue square anytime soon. It was still a lot of fun.

Um, donโ€™t let anyone tell you I donโ€™t love Wilkins Coffee! โš ๏ธ (link content now changed ๐Ÿ˜• - Jan/24)
