Unrelated to the post but thought it was cool.

I’ve been told for the past several weeks that there was a job waiting for me at the end of, what seemed like, long negotiations. Well I found out today the job isn’t happening. The way the project ended up being structured my position was deemed to be redundant. This feels like a kick in the balls. I met with the PM the work is for and played a role in getting the work, now nothing. Sure it is business blah blah blah but I believed in the process and had faith that it would work out. Now I feel stupid and like I’ve wasted time and I’m sure I’ll hear ‘I told you so…’. I guess I should have known better to trust people with nothing in writing. Pretty dejecting.

Sigh.

Well… at least I know now. Now to get on with it…
