Bah, Briere turned down the Buffalo Sabres offer today of 5 years/25 million… it is a bit insulting considering he made $5 million last year after arbitration. It seems Briere will test out the free agent market unless the Sabres can come back with an impressive counter-offer. (I’m not holding my breath on that…) Thanks for the memories Danny. Good luck on whichever team is crazy enough to pay you $7M a year. I can only imagine the offer that Drury got is about the same and he too will reject it. So the Sabres will lose both their captains and have a major gap in the line-up to fill.

We are getting the front walkway done professionally. It costs a fair bit but compared to the existing original building ghetto blocks it is going to be a substantial improvement. Work starts on the project in a few weeks.
