Queen Elizabeth II

The Queen has died. It is a historic passing. Her full title: Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith. It is a bit odd hearing the Queen has died as a Canadian. As Canada was once under British rule. She certainly was a remarkable woman who gave her life to the State. While I’m not a huge monarchist – frankly would like her off our money – I do think she can be honoured for her incredible contributions to our nation and the Commonwealth.

A truly sad day for many across the globe. Unquestionably, the end of an era.
