Moving on up!

Moving on up!

Most of today was spent helping my Brother in Law move stuff to Collingwood where he (and my sister of course) are moving in January. It was quite a drive up. Lots of fog. The highway up had one of those creepy signs on posting the number of accidents and deaths that occurred on it. (something like 1200 accidents and 30 deathsโ€ฆ no wonder people were passing on double SOLID lines. Fools!) Collingwood seemed to be pretty nice. My sisterโ€™s new place (we only saw the exterior) seems like it will be decent as well.

Did you catch the footage of that crazy basketball brawl? โš ๏ธ (link now 404 ๐Ÿ˜• - April/24) Iโ€™m not too surprised. Fans go too far sometimes. Tossing beer in someoneโ€™s face? Cโ€™mon. That idiot deserved a pop in the head. Maybe next time heโ€™ll *think* twice before being an asshat.

update: brawl link is dead.

Wellโ€ฆ I certainly never thought I would ever see them. Iโ€™m *not* missing them this time. ๐Ÿ˜€

what the?

Iโ€™m beginning to wonder about the planning and structure for the IMM course. First off, there are major personal projects due (all within two days) for six courses. In this time there are also quizzes AND final exams AND client projects to do. It is getting a little ridiculous. Some teachers are dropping quizzes and tests (and even exams) with one class notice? Uh Hello? Why this mountain of work canโ€™t be spaced out better is beyond my comprehension. If the load gets too heavy the camel will break. I mean this pace is getting in the way of the learning which I have paid a lot for. Meh. Not to mention the scattered attention I can pay to my assignment will ultimately affect their overall quality.

I needed a quiet night and that is what tonight was. Starbucks and B. on a maker mission. No honey, Home Depot is not open after 10. ๐Ÿ˜›
