Ugh. Traffic was backed up on the 410 this morning on my way into work for an hour. When I passed the accident it turned my stomach. I saw a damaged school bus on the grassy median and more emergency vehicles than I have ever seen in one location in my life. It looked apocalyptic. Add the sound of a helicopter overhead and it was clearly the scene of a tragedy of some sort. Details are developing. What an awful start to today. Hopefully it looked worse than it was.

Hmm… seem hard to segue to my playoff excitement after that. Gah. The NHL playoffs start tonight and I’m in a few pools. One with my Dad and a few friends had me drive to St.Catharines last night. It is the annual pool and for the first time I got the first pick. It is a mixed blessing. Sure you get the 1st pick but you don’t pick again for 20 or so picks. Anyway here is who I ended up with:
