Great water front

Phew. It is a big drive to get to Round Lake…5hrs… maybe not monstrous by some standards, but certainly was exhausting for me driving alone. It was worth it though. It is such a nice lake, how many lakes in North America can be *tested* to be save to drink? Sandy lake bottom, clear, warm water — very nice.

We did some drinking, swimming, reading, relaxing, shopping, gaming… all good. Certainly didn’t seem long enough however. B. has a lot of family up there, so visiting took up more time than I was expecting. Not a problem, but it took out of *our* time which was disappointing since it is badly needed. Great weather though. Dog was more annoying at Round Lake than at B.’s sister’s cottage…. likely since the cottages at Round Lake as closer together, and puppy likes to wander.

Good to hear the Discovery shuttle landed safely. Anyway, exhausted. It has been a very long day. I miss B. already. (Oh, I didn’t mention she is still there ’til Saturday… she has more ‘weeks’ than I do…)
