Howl’s Moving Castle

I’ve read a lot of review raving about the Anime film Howl’s Moving Castle so I finally got around to watching it. (The original subtitled version) It was both spectacular and strange. Certainly unlike many Anime films I’ve watched before. The film took a while to get me interested but once I understood where the director was going I enjoyed the film a lot more. Some of the animation sequences are the most imaginative and wonderful I’ve seen. I enjoyed all the characters especially Turnip and Calcifer, ironically I liked Howl the least. I felt Howl could have used a little more depth. Overall however I was quite impressed, Director Miyazaki once again creates an anime gem. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

I’m hoping for an Oilers/ Sabres Stanley Cup final. Ironically… there is a silver lining if the Sabres lose to the Cane… I’d likely win the hockey pool. Heh.
