Another work week grinds along… It snowed a paltry 15cm yesterday and that translated into a 2.5h drive into work. *eyeroll* Great for outdoor Winter activities but otherwise, ugh. Today a rig slammed on his breaks in front of me and smoked his tires… twice! Needless to say I avoided him after that; he was driving pretty strangely. Commuting sucks, a lot, it is the only part of my day I consistently dislike. It isn’t horrible but 2-3hrs of driving every day does eat away at your soul. B.’s yearly work party is tomorrow. She has been shopping for me trying to dress me up. In doing so I’ve discovered a casualty of two weeks of eating delicious Christmas cookies. Yes, my waistline gained a size again. Hopefully I regain my old size… but realistically I’m not going to stay a 32 forever.

Not surprisingly, no Sabres on the All-Star team. Ho-hum. Please save the team Mr.Pegula! Start by signing some winners, most of the ‘top 6’ can go! Brutal loss vs. the Flyers earlier this week. Just when I start to get hope it is replaced by grave disappointment. ‘Tis the nature of being a fan I guess.

Did I mention I’m happy I picked the Yamaha drums over the Roland drums? The onboard songs (as simple as they are) are fun to play along with and there is a ton of them from various genres. It would be super awesome if the brain was dynamic and had a USB port for new content… oh well.
