throat pain

Somedays working in the gaming industry sucks. But days like today help balance the scales. Boss came by and told us we are shutting down at 1 and gaming the rest of the afternoon. Ha! Cha!

B. has been battling something nasty the past few days. So far we believe it to be strep throat. The throat pain (as I have observed) seemed to be pretty intense. I think it has inflamed various glands in her neck, they seem really unusually hard. She is seeing our family doctor today (I ordered her to go…) especially after she woke up this morning and through her throat was closing. Enough of that, get to a doctor. I’m hoping the good doctor has a more proactive way of dealing with this. Poor B.. 😦

Many fans would turn off a game where their team is losing 4-1 with 10 minutes left to play. As was the case in the Buffalo v. Boston game last night. This team is different. Until the last second ticks off the clock I believe they have a shot. Once again my faith was rewarded. Final score? 5-4 in a shoot out. That is what being a fan is about.
