Getting power to the hottub required the digging of a trench to the back of the yard. The contractor finally decided we could fill it in, so that was yesterdayโ€™s arm breaking first order of business. So now the yard looks more like a muddy mess instead of a massive ant farm. Still it is progress. Bdot planted all our misplaced lilies and the dog ran around and got dirty.

It is nice to be eating solid food. And it is nice for a fart to just be a fart again. ๐Ÿ™‚

In the evening we arranged to meet my sister and JP in Barrie for dinner and a movie. After getting caffeine we made our way up to Barrie, traffic wasnโ€™t too bad. Parking however took a few laps up and down streets before we finally found a place. Dinner was at the Japanese restaurant Akira. We had an assortment of stuff. I enjoyed the Dynamite roll, Yellow Dragon Roll and of course a Canadian made Sapporo. Dinner wasnโ€™t bad. It was all you can eat. I think we felt it was a little pricey. Also by the time we got home I was hungry again. *shrug* The restaurant is other fine. Decent atmosphere, staff was reasonable diligent. Ultimately Iโ€™d likely go somewhere else next time however.

I reluctantly agreed to see the Sandra Bullock film Gravity. The Tomatoes rating is *cough* stellar. I can see whyโ€ฆ from the first frame it is non-stop peril for the characters. The action is breathtaking. It is very hard to believer this was all shot in a studio and all the weightlessness drawn by computer. Iโ€™d watch it again just for the effects. The story is certainly secondary to the visuals and I found them captivating. So. Yes. I liked a Sandra Bullock film. She was actually quite good in it. โญโญโญโญยฝ

After the long day we enjoyed a quiet soak under the stars. What a way to end a day.
