Lovely Palgrave forest

The first week back after the holiday was pretty tiring… I was very busy most days at work and a few brutal drives home at night. I was happy to reach Friday…. Saturday was pretty quiet… I had a haircut at 1 and we took the dog for a walk in Palgrave afterwards. In the evening we browsed threw the Rogers on Demand. It is great for getting torrent ideas. -grin-

We ended up with the brainless action movie Knight and Day. It wasn’t bad. It was on par with what I’d expect from Cruise and Diaz – cutesy and entertaining. There was some cool action sequences, it was largely unrealistic however. ⭐⭐⭐

We returned to Palgrave today (Sunday). Just off the 50 there is a awesome area for skating. We’ve passed by it numerous times… today we stopped and skated! It has been ages since I’ve skated… I didn’t do too badly but the skates felt like there were crushing my feet after 20m. After skating we enjoyed a nice hour ski at Palgrave. The centre route in Palgrave Forest was decent… I enjoyed it much more than my first trip skiing to Palgrave.
