Oh! …and the world didn’t end. Good news, would have pissed me off to do all that gardening for nothing.

A long weekend! Day one was spent in backyard weeding. I spent about five hours pulling, bending and crawling around in the dirt. Now, in the evening as I write this, I’m achy all over. My arms and wrists hurt the most. On the bright side, the entire left garden has been de-weeded. It was also crazy hot today. Bdot was out all day at a field test. She was running Tanga trying to get the final leg of the dog’s Field Dog (FD) title. …and she did it! This has been a long time coming… Congrats to bdot and Tanga! I gots me a huntin’ dog! Yeeha!

We watched two movies in the past few days. Last night we watched 127 Hours (2010). This was a true story about a cave hiker that get trapped for 127 hours… what a story. I was curious to see how the screenplay would evolve to unfold the story into a movie… but it was really well done. James Franco’s performance was convincing. A great story of survival and the will of the human spirit. Recommended. ⭐⭐⭐½

Tonight we watched A-Team (2010). Tomatoes rated it at 47%… I think that is low. It was a solid action film with some laughs. That is what I was expecting, and that is what I got. I thought the casting was good too, expect for Hannibal. ⭐⭐⭐

More yard work tomorrow…assuming, of course, my arms are functional.
