Happy Easter

Saturday we went down to my parents in Niagara for Easter dinner. My mother cooked up a storm! Thanks again Mom! We enjoyed delicious turkey with great sides, for dessert I enjoyed Lemon Poppy Cake. Mmmm. After dinner we played a new card game. (New to me anyway) It is called Golf. It was a combination of memorization and drawing cards. It was fun once I understood it, although I didn’t play very well and never won a round. I also did my routine tech support for my Dad. It was a nice dinner and it was great to see my parents. After we left my parents, we stopped in Oakville to pick up a friend’s dog. Yes, we are watching Cairo again. His owner is in the middle of exam week and needs to focus. It can be hard to focus with a Vizsla in the house…*cough*

Sunday we spent most of the day cleaning. I did a lot of exterior stuff: took down the Christmas lights, cleaned out the eaves, washed the exterior front windows, fixed the gate lock,swept the garage…etc. B. cleaned the upstairs windows. They are the new windows that fold inside, they are pretty amazing. We finished off B.’s Thai Noodles from hell for dinner. She always seems to be overly generous with the red curry in her recipes. Hot!
