Mom and cake.

Last entry I said I was off to the Dentist. Gah. It was a painful visit. My lower bottom left end molar is cracked and needed a bunch of work. I think I was in the chair of pain for close to 90m. It has been sore since Tuesday night. I haven’t been able to eat that side of my mouth since the dental work. I might by Monday…

Today we started (well continued really) looking at couches for the great room. We are thinking of getting leather. There is a local furniture manufacturer with good quality work, all Canadian at a reasonable price. We might compare to another business tomorrow.

After shopping we drove up to my sister’s for a birthday dinner for me and my Mom. The Men stayed home and watched a remarkable upset as Notre Dame beat Utah, the women went into Orillia to do some shopping. JP made a wonderful dinner of chicken, ribs, potatoes, carrots… Dessert was a white cake coconut cream cake. It was a fairly quiet evening. Thank you to my family for the lovely gifts. 😀

Wow! Sabres finally won their first home game with a sick OT goal by Vanek. About time he make a multi-million dollar play like that.
